My name is Karin Lowen and I am a London-based professional genealogist and family historian. I offer a variety of services, including researching family lines and creating a narrative history of your family; house history research, reviewing clients' own research and guidance on analysing DNA test results. Knowing about those who came before us has a huge impact on our own sense of identity. From seeing the resilience of ancestors who coped with difficult times to understanding which countries and regions our forebears came from, discovering the jobs they did, why they moved (or not) and where the surname they passed down may have originated from, we gain a much stronger sense of self that enhances our confidence.
